2.- Locate the Ballast or Adapter place for installation, keep the Ballast or Adapter no more than 0.50 meters away from the Lamp and use 4Kv rated sockets, other way the lamp ignition could be retarded or the lamp won’t start.

Screw the mounting plate, and fix the Ballast or Adapter.

Warning: Keep the Ballast or Adapter away from water.

3.- Select the right power to match the lamp and Ballast or Adapter, the Ballast or Adapter is provided with a switch in the bottom to select from 39, 50 70, and 100Watts.

Warning: selecting a wrong power switch position will make the lamp Fade out or in the worst case a permanent lamp failure and damage, causing in some extreme cases the inner bulb rupture that can cause serious injury or risk of fire. The manufacturer won’t accept any further responsibility in case of misuse.

4.- Wire the Ballast or Adapter as shown in the picture:

Attach the green cable to ground.

Wire the White and Black cables to the Line power 120 +- 15% Vac 60Hz.

Wire the blue cables to the lamp socket.

5.-  Check the right lamp is right connected and energize the circuit.

3.2.-Operation instructions:

1.- When the 120Vac, 60Hz is applied, the Ballast or Adapter will start the lamp during the first seconds, then the lamp will gradually increment the power until the lamp reaches the operating power, this can take several minutes depending of the lamp conditions.

2.- If the lamp does not start in the first start cycle, or is turned off, the Ballast or Adapter will make starting cycles each minute until the Lamp turns on again.

Warning: Each start cycle makes the Ballast or Adapter voltage rises up to 4,000V.

3.- If the energy fails the lamp will turn off up to 20 Minutes until it cools and it will start again.

Warning:  Avoid operating the Ballast or Adapter without Lamp, in short circuit, or with any of the blue wires attached to neutral. Do not operate without the cover removed.
